What is Fuel the Mission?

Many children across southern Canada and the United States have helped keep LAMP planes "fueled up" by sending in money they've collected either individually or as a group. Sunday schools, day schools, and VBS groups have used our curriculum to help children understand the mission of LAMP. This program gives them an opportunity to become actively involved in LAMP missions as they give financially and pray for the people of the North.

Lampert™ and the Lost Little Ones Curriculum encourages children to be mission-minded by:

• Teaching about LAMP’s ministry to Indigenous children in remote areas of northern Canada

• Encouraging praying for the children and their families in the North

• Becoming involved in “Fueling the Mission” by collecting money for airplane fuel

Did you know that most Indigenous children living in remote areas in the North do not have access to Sunday school, chapel, or worship services?

Yes, there are thousands of children who need to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ before this generation is lost. Your financial support makes it possible for our missionary staff and volunteer missionary teams to go north to share their faith in Jesus which makes an impact on the lives of the children there.

In one of the communities where LAMP serves, a mother recently commented:

“I see a very positive sign of belief in Jesus in my children and all the children who attend. They’re learning and loving what they’ve been taught in all the VBS activities. When your child wakes to singing one of the songs they’ve learned in the morning, it fills my heart to hear and see this.”
